massages
Massages are an ancient and complex form of therapy, as old as man himself.
Massages preserve and enhance wellness and the psychophysical state.
Massages significantly help the mental state as they ease and release tension and free emotions, whose stagnation triggers discomfort and illness.
Understanding one's body as a whole, by physical contact, helps one come to peace with one's self, helping one accept themselves and feel more self-assured and able to meet life's challenges without letting stress take over.
It is based on the fundamental principal that the body and mind are functionally identical, in other words what the mind feels is reflected in the body and vice versa.
Emotions are biological energy flows present in the body.
When one being has physical contact with another, a bioenergetics' process is started. A human being has the ability to release emotions and feelings of conflict by way of chronic muscular contractions, encapsulating feelings.
The bioenergetics' holistic massage helps ease muscular contractions, freeing up blocked energy and helping it flow again.
It is highly recommended for pregnant women and newborn babies.
Performing this type of massage infuses a positive energy on the child's general development, helping the child to develop a correct and equilibrated relationship with his/her body and the outside world.
This massage is also very beneficial for adults as it enhances their abilities to feel emotions and touches. This will help increase self-confidence, the ability to perceive as well as emotional stability.
The Shiatsu technique refers to the use of fingers and the palm of one's hand to apply pressure, according to the principle of helping one's energy to properly flow through the body's energy pathways.
These pathways control specific psychological, emotional, mental and spiritual functions. It is an evolutionary technique. It works by means of the “underlying energy” of the body, through manual treatment.
According to its principles, there are reflex areas on the feet that correspond to various body organs, thereby favoring re-harmonization at the energy level.
It is aimed at changing pressure on tissue points. It is considered a maintenance regime for the prevention and cure of certain imperfections.
It specifically concerns muscles and bones. It helps with preparing for competitive and recreational sports.
It drains lactic acid and metabolic residue produced by physical activity.
It has analgesic and relaxation effects as it helps dissolve blockages generated by connective tissues caused by muscle tension, trauma and stress.
It massages the fat and favors the elimination of excess liquids.
It enhances superficial circulation and therefore diminishes imperfections..
They complement each other and tailor the massage to the receiver's needs, both in terms of body and character.
This massage's aim is to rhythmically rebalance the male/female energy of the body.
hammam
Hammam has its roots in the Greco-roman ancient world. It is a timeless place where the fragrance of essential oils, sounds, lights and the flow of water heighten tranquility making one feel safe and pampered. It is an invitation to listen oneself.
It is a place where the tender touch of hands carries you off to memories of ancient traditions of wellness.
It consists of a pre-wash with only water, followed by the ritual of the soap massage with traditional black soap from Morocco, which makes the skin softer and more luminous; the peeling, a deep exfoliation of the skin with kasha, a typical coarse/silky glove; the complete body and hair wash and treatments with products, compresses and oils specifically chosen for you, in a synergetic dance of hot and cold water. This stimulates the energetic rebalance and is accompanied by hands that massage, caress and pamper you.
At the end of the treatment, one can enjoy various herbal teas, infusions and fresh fruit in the relax zone.
The possible treatments at the hammam vary according to individual needs:
- Raxul
- Is the mud ritual. It is characterized by dry temperatures, followed by a vapor bath and a tropical shower with the essence of passion fruit. It deeply detoxifies and hydrates the skin.
- Essenthia
- Is a ritual based on essences. It is a treatment with hot vapor and the aroma of eucalyptus essence, alternating with dewy freshness. It helps with breathing and eliminates toxins.
- Thalasso
- Is a ritual based on tides. It is characterized by alternating emissions of saline solution and air mixed with eucalyptus essence, ending with fresh dewdrops. It helps re-mineralize and detoxifies the body.
